How to Measure Your Two-Piece Sling Chair/Chaise

Before You Begin

⚠️ Important Note: This guide is only for chair, chaise and loveseat with a two-piece sling. If your chair/chaise has a different design, please contact us for assistance.

⚠️Please do NOT remove your old slings to measure—this instruction applies only to rails facing upward.⚠️

What You’ll measure

  1. Back Slings

    1. TOP WIDTH

    2. BOTTOM WIDTH

    3. LENGTH

  2. Seat Slings

    1. BACK WIDTH

    2. FRONT WIDTH

    3. LENGTH

Tools You’ll Need

  • A metal or cloth tape measure.


Step 1: Measuring the Back Sling.

1. Top Width

  • Place the tape measure where the visible material starts.

  • Stretch it straight across to the end of visible material.

  • Measure only the visible fabric (exclude the rails).

2. Bottom Width

  • Repeat the same process for the bottom width.

3. Back Length

  • Place the tape measure at the top of the rail.

  • Extend it down to the opposite end cap.

  • Do not include the end cap.


Step 2: Measure the Seat Sling

1. Back Width

  • Repeat the same process for the back width of the seat.

  • Stretch it straight across to the end of visible material.

  • Measure only the visible fabric (exclude the rails).

2. Front Width

  • Place the tape measure where the visible material starts.

  • Stretch it straight across to the end of visible material.

  • Measure only the visible fabric (exclude the rails).

3. Seat Length

  • Place the tape measure at the back of the rail.

  • Extend it down to the opposite end cap.

  • Do not include the end cap.
